  Thank you for your interest in St. Angela Merici Parish School. We provide a Catholic education that focuses on academic excellence and spiritual guidance within a caring, family-like community. We are excited to share more information about our school with you!

  1.Submit an Inquiry
  Complete our online inquiry form or contact the school office to let us know you are interested in St. Angela Merici Parish School. A member of our staff will share more information about the school and schedule a visit.

  2. Visit
  We invite you to visit campus either during an open house event or on a personal family tour. You’ll have the opportunity to meet faculty members, see classrooms, and learn more about the learning opportunities, faith formation, and family-like environment offered at St. Angela Merici Parish School.
  3. Complete the Online Application
  When you are ready, St. Angela Merici Parish School offers a simple and secure online application. (A non-refundable fee of $120 must be submitted with each application.) Our online application process for the 2025-2026 school year will open in January 2025.
  
  The following documents are requested and can be uploaded to the FACTS application portal:
  Birth Certificate (required)
  Baptismal Certificate (if completed)
  Immunization Records (required)
  First Reconciliation Certificate (if applicable)
  First Communion Certificate (if applicable)
  Most Current Report Card (required for all incoming 1st - 8th graders)
  Standardized Test Scores for past two years (required for all incoming 2nd - 8th graders)

  4. Student Assessment
  Each incoming student will complete an academic assessment to determine grade-level readiness and ensure that St. Angela Merici is able to meet the individual needs of the student. A staff member will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment.
  
  5. Complete Enrollment Packet
  Once you have received your student’s official acceptance letter, your family will have a 30-day window to complete the online enrollment packet and pay the non-refundable registration fee. At this time you will also set up your tuition payment plan.
NEW FAMILY TRANSITION
- St. Angela Merici Parish School offers a variety of opportunities to help your student and family quickly and easily transition into our school community:
  New Parent Meeting
  All new families attend a small-group meeting with our princial to go over school-wide policies and procedures as well as to answer any questions you may have.
  
  Back-to-school meet-and-greet
  Before school starts in August, SAM holds a back-to-school meet-and-greet. You’ll have the chance to meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, ask questions, and meet other SAM families.
  
  Back-to-school Night
  Each teacher provides a detailed presentation about classroom procedures, curriculum overview and special projects, methods of parent communication, and more.
  
  Mentor family
  Each new family is paired with a mentor family. Reach out to your mentors anytime with questions that arise throughout the year.

FAQs
- What is the age criteria?
  Students entering transitional kindergarten must be 4 years old before September 1st.
  
  Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old before September 1st.
  
  Students entering grades 1-8 must meet the same entrance birth dates as the currently enrolled students in those classes.
- When can I visit the school or see the classroom?
  We invite interested families to visit campus either during an open house event or on a personal family tour. You’ll have the opportunity to meet faculty members, see classrooms, and learn more about the learning opportunities, faith formation, and family-like environment offered at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

- Is there a placement test?
  Each incoming student will complete an academic assessment to determine grade-level readiness and ensure that St. Angela Merici is able to meet the individual needs of the student. A staff member will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment after you have completed the online application.
- How many students are in each class and do they have aides?
  St. Angela Merici Parish School is a single-grade school with an average class size of 27 students. Transitional kindergarten is capped at 20 students. Aides are present in transitional kindergarten through 2nd grade.
- What is the cost of sending my child to St. Angela Merici Parish School?
  St. Angela Merici Parish School offers several payments plans with monthly tuition starting at $422/month for half-day TK and $630/month for full-day TK - 8th grade. Please view our complete tuition, fees, and commitments for more details.
