2019-20 Staff Changes

“Change is an irresistible force

that moves you to places

you never thought that you would go.”

Dear Staff,

Spring is a time of change and new beginnings and with change comes a spirit of growth and possibility. It is always difficult to say goodbye to those we have partnered with as they move on to a new chapter in their lives. But we do so in knowing that God guides us on a path that is uniquely planned for each of us. With that in mind, I would like to let you know of the changes in staff for next year.

Mr. LoPorto will not be returning. We thank him for his many years of teaching, coaching, and supporting the technology at SAM. Our Broadcast and school technology would not be where it is today without him. We wish him the very best. We are currently accepting applications and scheduling interviews for a technology teacher.

Mrs. Ryan also will not be returning. As our Learning Support Resource Specialist, classroom aide and spanish teacher in past years she has made an impact on SAM that will last a lifetime. We thank her for working with our students over the years and wish her many blessings. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Grasko will be moving to 5th grade. We welcome Ms. Mallory Susank as our new 3rd grade teacher. She has more than 8 years of experience working with children and comes to us through the LMU PLACE Corps. We are thrilled to have her join our team.

As our departing staff members leave us to embark on a new journey, we are very grateful for the time and dedication they have given to our school community. We will honor them tomorrow at Mass. We have been blessed by their presence, their gift of teaching and their commitment to Catholic education. We send them forth with all of our love, support and prayers.

Blessings on You

As you take the next steps on your path.

May Beauty and Strength walk with you.

May the winds and rains anoint you.

May you experience all creation as friend —

And May Gratitude

Be your constant companion

In the Dance of Life.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Mrs. Julianna Tapia
