Financial Aid Announcement

Financial Aid applications are currently being accepted for the 2018-2019 school year through the FACTs Grant and Aid application process. Applications and all required documents must be uploaded, verified and received by FACTs by May 1st, 2018.


Financial aid applications submitted without all required documents by the May 1st, 2018 deadline WILL NOT be considered for financial aid. In order to give families enough time to make enrollment decisions for the 2018-2019 school, based on financial aid awards, these dates will not be extended.


Plan accordingly and apply as soon as possible.


Lock Down Drill


The safety of your child, all school children and our staff is the highest priority at St. Angela Merici Parish School. In order to maintain a safe environment for our school community, it is necessary that we practice our emergency drills throughout the school year. 


We will now be practicing another type of drill to protect our school community from outside intrusions: Lock Down Drills.


Our first Lock Down Drill will be held next week on January 17th, 2018. For more information, please read the letter that was sent home with your child today.



Volunteers Needed for Book Fair


Christina Sikes is gathering a team of enthusiastic, creative and talented volunteers to help out at our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair, and we would like to invite you to help out.


Please take a moment to view our sign-up sheet to see what roles interest you. Spread the word to your friends and invite them to help us have the best Book Fair ever!

2018-2019 Enrollment for Siblings


All current families who have siblings interested in the 2018-2019 school year need to pick up a registration packet on or before our January 28th Open House.


Paperwork must be turned into the office by February 16th to schedule the campus assessment on February 26th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Johnson at (714) 529-6372.

Open House


Open House, and the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, will be Sunday, January 28th. Our campus will be open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We encourage you to invite family and friends to visit our school and see the awesome student work on display!


The Eucharist that usually takes place before Open House will take place on the following Sunday, February 4th. We are fortunate to have the Bishop residing on the 4th, so we moved the Eucharist so he can celebrate with our school!



Career Day

Career Day will be Thursday, February 1st, 2018. To help inspire our students, we are asking parents (or family friends) to visit our TK-8th grade classrooms and briefly share about their careers.

  • The classes you would like to present in (*It does not have to be the class your child is in)


Presentation times and grades will be:

  • 8:20-9:20 AM – 5th-8th 
  • 10:30-11:30 AM – 1st-4th 
  • 2:00-2:30 – TK/K

Exciting Open House



This year’s Open House will have some very special guests in attendance.


Dazzling D’s Princess Productions is sending members of its Royal Family to our Open House later this month. Come and interact with some of your favorite characters for an extra magical day!


Invite your friends to our Open House and they too will get to see our beautiful campus and meet the princesses!



Casino Night


Casino Night tickets are now on sale in the Front Office! You can buy your tickets ahead of time or purchase them at the door on the night of the event. Tickets are $40 for casino entry and $60 for poker entry.


Casino Night will be on Friday, February 2nd, starting at 6:00 PM with dinner and gambling to follow. Don’t miss it!

Mr. LoPorto has been selected as one of Parenting OC’s Top Teachers of Orange County 2018!


He will be honored by Parenting OC in their upcoming March 2018 Top Teachers issue.
