A SAM Student’s Faith Journey Response:
“In our materialistic world, teenagers are at the heart of the storm. Bombarded with advertisements and temptation, it is hard to know what is right, but God is always open to prayers and offers us the right path. One concrete choice God offers to us is volunteerism. It often seems like a drag to go help others that cannot help themselves, but if you grab a few friends you will have fun and help the community. Programs like Bread of Angels, our hospitality ministry, and altar serving are great ways to get active in the community and get closer to God. With school, friends, sports, and the Internet, we can get caught up in ourselves, but God will show us the way. All we have to do is ask.”
