5th grade- IMPORTANT

Dearest 5th grade families,   This letter is to inform you that as of today, Mrs. Ivy Hoang will not be returning to St. Angela Merici School. We have made this decision for the best interest of the students. I greatly appreciate your patience during the first trimester. We have a plan in place that will begin next week with Mrs. Robin McConnell as your child’s homeroom teacher. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible with the help of our amazing staff. We will provide a full breakdown of the schedule in the coming days.  Mrs. Halliday and I will be finishing your child’s report cards and we will give them to you next week. Mrs. Halliday will be assisting with next week’s parent/teacher conferences. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything.   Blessings,   Mrs. Julianna Tapia Principal

8 November 2018           Morning Drop-Off Safety Reminders   We ask that you abide by the following rules regarding morning drop-off procedure to ensure the safety of our students and keep the car line moving as efficiently as possible: Enter the parking lot by the Walnut Street entrance and stop to unload passengers as directed by the supervisors. Turn left and exit on Fir Street after drop off.  Do not stop on Walnut Street to drop your child off.       4 October 2018           A Message from Principal Tapia   Hello SAM Family,   God is good! The SAM Community is truly doing HIS work and it shows in all we do. I want to thank all of the families who attended the Family Mass last Saturday! I had tears of joy running down my face as I watched our beautiful children and their families PACK the church. The song we sang at Communion really said the words my heart was feeling,   “We are gathered at table as one in the Lord. We are gathered as people who are living the Word. Our hearts and our spirits are nurtured by grace. It is Jesus who fills us. He is here in this place.”   I couldn’t have said it any better myself. My hope is that you join on Saturday, October 27th at 5 pm as we celebrate Mass with Father Dave. Following the Mass, we will have a Family Fun Night on the field with a kid friendly Halloween movie and dinner. We are looking forward to our community coming together for worship and fellowship.   As your new principal, I…
