All pledge sheets are due on Monday, March 25th. The money raised at this fundraiser will support the plethora of special opportunities we provide for our students on a daily basis in the arts, sciences, and physical education departments. Hello, We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Karin Grasko will be our new 5th grade teacher starting in August. Following an extensive search and interview process, Mrs. Grasko rose as the top candidate above a highly competitive group of educators. Prior to her teaching experience as our 3rd grade teacher, she taught 5th grade at SAM for 3 years and has worked in our community for 16 years.   Our Jump Rope for Heart will be this Friday. Please complete the attached permission slip in order to participate in this fun event. Donations are due by February 28th. Thank you for your support.     Our next Family Mass will be held THIS SATURDAY, February 23rd at 5:00 PM. 1st, 4th and 7th grades are hosting and are encouraged to sign up HERE.       7 February 2019           February Charity of Month   In honor of Mrs. Glidewell, the students will be making fleece tie blankets for women battling breast cancer at local chemotherapy centers during their class Valentines’ parties for the February Charity of the Month. We are partnering with Breastlink and Yana Cancer Comfort to make this happen and to distribute the blankets.     Family Mass     Our next Family Mass will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00 PM. 1st, 4th and 7th grades are hosting and are encouraged to sign up HERE. SummerFest Chairs are looking for extra help this year in preparation for one of SAM’s largest fundraising events. Hello,   We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our nation today with nation ball, Red Cows and an American Red Cross kick-off rally!    Tomorrow SAM will celebrate vocations. Students may dress like what they want to be when they grow up. They will also enjoy Career Day presentations. Oh, the places they’ll go!   Our annual Talent Show will be held on Friday, February 1st at 1:00 PM in the Boys and Girls Club Gym.
