Tuition rates and fees are adjusted and determined on an annual basis.

What is the age criteria?

Students entering Transitional-Kindergarten must be 4 years old before September 1st to be accepted.  Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old before September 1st, students entering Grades 1-8 must meet the same entrance birth dates as the currently enrolled students in those classes.

When can I visit the school or see the classroom?

The last Sunday in January is Catholic School’s Sunday. We will be hosting an Open House for our students and invite any interested families to come and visit our school.   You may also call for a tour of the school at any time of the year.

How many students are in each class and do they have aides?

St. Angela Merici Parish School is a single grade school. Transitional kinder has up to 22 students, kindergarten has up to 32 students, 1st through 4th grades have up to 35 students, and 5th through 8th grades have up to 36 students.  Full time aides are present in Transitional Kinder through the 2nd grade.

Is there a placement test?

Yes, St. Angela Merici Parish School partners with Chancy and Bruce Educational Resources to administer a placement tests for all incoming TK-8th grade students. It assesses children in the processing skill areas that are needed for formal learning. Children in grades one through eight are also given assessments in reading, comprehension, spelling, writing, and mathematics. Social-Emotional maturity and attention-span maturity are also profiled. Recommendations are made in regards to school readiness, grade level placement, and if further diagnostic assessment is necessary.

What happens after I apply?

Using the information you have provided, a follow up phone call from the front office will be made directly to your family to assist you in the process.

Do you offer after school care and summer school?

St. Angela Merici Parish School offers an extended care program for school families that provides care both before and after school hours. Please click HERE for more information.
