2019-2020 School Year Registration

Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will open in Sycamore on March 1st. The first $450 registration fee payment will be due March 15th and the second payment(s) will be due April 1st.

 

Do not send your child to school with your registration payment; parents are required to turn it in to the Front Office. 

 

 

Save the Date

Save the date! OC Wine Mart and Deli in Yorba Linda will be donating 15%  of all purchases, including deli and wine, to St. Angela Merici Parish School this Sunday, February 24th, from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.  Thank you in advance for your support!

 

OC Wine Mart and Deli in Yorba Linda is located at 4925 Yorba Ranch Road, Yorba Linda 92887.

 

 

Yearbook Orders Due

 

The deadline for ordering your yearbook is fast approaching! Yearbook orders must be completed by next Thursday, February 28th. To purchase your yearbook, visit this link HERE

We would like to extend a very big thank you to PK Donuts for supplying our school with the donuts for Donuts with Dad. The Chau family has generously provided St. Angela Merici Parish School with wonderful discounts over the years and we are so thankful for their support and delicious donuts!

 

 

Family Mass

 

 

Our next Family Mass will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00 PM. 1st, 4th and 7th grades are hosting and are encouraged to sign up HERE. All students who attend in formal uniform may wear free dress on Monday, February 25th (please see the School Handbook for free dress guidelines).

 

 

Blessing of New SAIL Lab Postponed

The blessing of our new SAIL Lab will be moved to a later date. We will share the details of the new date soon.

 

 

Parochial Athletic League Track Meet

 

 

The 2019 Parochial Athletic League Diocesan Track Meet will be held on May 18th for grades 1-4 and May 19th for grades 5-8 at Aliso Niguel High School, with an 8:00 AM start time. All students in grades 1-8 are encouraged to participate in this great school spirit building event! The Track Meet is an all-day event, but students can come for just part of the day depending on the event(s) being entered. The following are events that students can participate in. There is a three event maximum per student. 

  • 50 m. dash (1st-3rd graders)
  • 100 m. dash (1st-8th graders)
  • 200 m. dash (1st-8th graders)
  • 400 m. dash (1st-8th graders)
  • 1 mile run (4th-8th graders)
  • 4 x 100 relay (1st-8th graders)
  • 4 x 400 relay (4th-8th graders)
  • Long jump (1st-8th graders)
  • Softball throw (1st-8th graders)

 

Kids Heart Challenge Ends Soon

 

 

The Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart) is ending soon! So far our school has raised $2,000 in lifesaving donations. It’s not too late to raise a donation this month to help others affected by heart diseases and stroke. Visit our school’s page HERE and sign up to continue donating. Donations are due February 28th

Financial Aid Announcement

Financial aid applications are currently being accepted for the 2019-2020 school year through the FACTs Grant and Aid application process. Applications and all required documents must be uploaded, verified and received by FACTs by May 1st, 2019

 

Financial aid applications submitted without all required documents by the May 1st, 2019 deadline WILL NOT be considered for financial aid. In order to give families enough time to make enrollment decisions for the 2019-2020 school year, based on financial aid rewards, these dates will not be extended. Plan accordingly and apply as soon as possible. 

 

Extra Spirit Shirts for Sale

In case you missed them, there are a limited number of spirit shirts from the Auction Dinner for sale in the Front Office! They are $10 each and the remaining sizes are:

  • 2 Youth Extra Small
  • 8 Youth Medium
  • 1 Adult Small
  • 1 Adult Medium
  • 1 Adult Large
