Introducing Principal Julianna Tapia

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our school community: Julianna Tapia, Principal of St. Angela Merici Parish School.

Mrs. Julianna Tapia has been with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange for ten years. She began her career teaching 1st Grade in a public school and moved to the Diocese of Orange in 2008. She has taught Kindergarten and 5th Grade, while serving as Athletic Director for two years at St. Juliana Falconieri. In addition, she was the Sunday School Ministry Leader for nine years. This past year, she was given the opportunity to be the Vice Principal at Christ Cathedral Academy, as she worked toward her ultimate goal of becoming a Catholic School Principal and assumed many of the duties of Principal.

Mrs. Tapia earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton. She earned her first Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and her second in Educational Administration. She is committed to making a difference in the life of each child and supporting the school and parish families. Mrs. Tapia looks forward to inspiring students and collaborating with teachers to educate St. Angela Merici’s students in mind, body and soul. Mrs. Tapia and her husband have four active boys- Jerred, Vincent, Noah and Romeo. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, being her sons’ #1 fan, crafting and cheering on the Angels.
