Mrs. Windisch’s Retirement Party
Next Saturday, June 9th, is Mrs. Windisch’s Retirement Party! Join the St. Angela Merici community in celebrating the 18 years of dedication our Principal has given to our school with a 5:00 PM Mass and reception to follow immediately in the Olsen Hall.
El Pollo Loco will be supplying dinner for the evening and plates will be $5 a person. We ask that all families attending bring a dessert to share! We look forward to celebrating Nancy Windisch’s retirement with the St. Angela Merici communnity.
Want a Free Dress Pass?
Contribute to Summerfest and earn a free dress pass by donating bottled water! We are requesting that each school family supply one case (quantity 24) of Dasani brand water (20 oz. bottle size), which is available at most stores for a nominal price. Families who contribute at least one case will receive a free dress pass for each of their SAM students.
Water may be dropped off at the KINDER KITCHEN anytime during school hours through June 1st. Free dress passes are limited to one per student in each participating family. Please make sure to write your family name on the plastic case wrapping so that we can provide you the free dress passes. Thank you for your support as always! Free dress will be on Wednesday, June 6th.
We are asking that all students turn in two cakes for the Summerfest cake walk. Turn in your cakes to the Parish Hall on Friday, June 1st, between 7:30 – 8:15 AM. Turn in your two cakes in a cake box, labeled with the student’s name, grade and ingredients. Cover all cakes with a clear lid or plastic wrap. Visit Decor Party Supply for a 10% discount on cake supplies!
For every cake turned in, students will receive one drink ticket to be redeemed during Summerfest 2018. Additionally, students who bring in cakes will earn a free dress pass if the total number of cakes brought in for their class is equal to or greater than the total number of students in their class. The top cake designs in each class will be entered in a drawing for $10 Cougar Cash.
Dime Pitch Booth Needs Glass Donations
The Dime Pitch Booth at Summerfest is looking for glass donations. They are in need of glasses and vases of any style or color. Items can be brought to the Kinder Kitchen, Front Office or the Dime Pitch Booth any time during Summerfest weekend. The online Book Fair is now live! You can donate to our school’s wish list for each grade or purchase books online at this link HERE with free shipping! This online Book Fair is available today through June 13th. The Book Fair will be on our campus June 5th – 8th. We look forward to seeing you there!
Used Uniform Donations
Congratulations to our 8th graders on their upcoming graduation! If any of the graduation families would like to donate uniforms, we are accepting used uniforms in the Front Office during the last week of school. They will be organized and prepared for the new school year. Thank you!
Now is the last chance to turn in your box tops to be counted this year. Please turn in your box tops by June 1st to your homeroom teacher or the Front Office. Each student who turns in at least 50 box tops will receive a prize.
Vacation Bible Study
The St. Angela Merici Church’s Vacation Bible Study will be July 16th-20th from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM in Olson Hall. This is open to students in TK through the 6th grade. They will be participating in Bible stories, crafts, games, skits, snacks and prizes!
Registration forms will be available on June 4th at the Parish Office Center or available to download online. Registration will be held in the Church Plaza on Sunday, June 10th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
