On Wednesday, March 7th, we welcome our Visiting Committee for the three-day visit portion of our accreditation process. Prior to their arrival, they spent time reading and re-reading our Self Study. Throughout the day, the Visiting Committee will visit classes and meet with students, staff, and Father Dave. In the evenings, they will meet with parents from the Consultative and SPA Board. Thursday and Friday they will continue with visits as they write their report, along with our pastor and Superintendent. It will be presented to the staff on Friday afternoon. The final copy of the report will arrive within a few weeks, and we will be honored to post it for the school community to review.
A really big thank you goes to all the staff for the 15 months of hard work in preparing the Self Study and for preparing for the upcoming visit.
Our goals that will impact student learning, from the Self Study are:
creating and implementing opportunities for families to deepen their Catholic faith,
creating a new innovation space
• utilizing professional learning communities to improve and enhance student learning
• further data-driven instruction to improve student learning and expanding the use of assessments
• investigating and implementing a school-wide spiraling-up writing program

This year St. Angela Merici will be entering individuals in the annual PAL track meet on May 19th and 20th, 2018.
We will not be having formal track practices this current year, however, classes may get together to practice on their own. For those who wish to participate in the track meet, there will be a sign-up sheet and information about fees and uniforms at the end of this month.

2018-2019 School Year
Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will begin in March. Tuition for the new school year will be $6,100 per child and the registration fee is $450 per child. Extended Care Fees will not change.
If you would like to honor a special friend, family member, or the memory of a loved one you may order a beautiful decorative plaque that will be installed on the new memory wall in the Prayer Garden. The brass plated plaques are 5″ by 11.5″ and customized with your special message.

Financial Aid Announcement
Financial Aid applications are currently being accepted for the 2018-2019 school year through the FACTs Grant and Aid application process. Applications and all required documents must be uploaded, verified and received by FACTs by May 1st, 2018.
Financial aid applications submitted without all required documents by the May 1st, 2018 deadline WILL NOT be considered for financial aid. In order to give families enough time to make enrollment decisions for the 2018-2019 school, based on financial aid awards, these dates will not be extended.
