The first Cougar News sent out, Week of February 1st, was missing the School Accreditation Update article shown below.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

School Accreditation Update

St. Angela Merici Parish School is always seeking the best and most effective ways to educate children, infusing this education with a strong and vital Catholic identity, while supporting parents in their role as the primary educators of their children.

Every six years we have an opportunity for a very specific Self Study process leading to the re-accreditation of the school.  On Monday, February 5th a Visiting Committee from WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association) will be at our school to receive our Self Study document, including our Action Plan, for ongoing improvement, and will be touring our school to meet the staff and students.  This committee will return on March 7th ,8th and 9th to spend three days to evaluate and determine our accreditation status for the next six years.

Please welcome our committee if you see them on our campus.  We also welcome your support, your feedback, and your prayers for the success of this process.
