Parents and other members of our school community need to remember to practice safety during afternoon drop-off and morning pick-up. Members of the neighborhood around our school have raised concerns about some issues with parent drivers, particularly when vehicles exit our parking lot on Fir Street.
Please keep in mind the following:
Pull in and out of the parking lots carefully and ensure the road and sidewalk are clear before going
Speed limit is 25 MPH in neighborhood areas and around schools when children are present
No texting while driving or any other form of distracted driving
Do not block Elm Street when lining up for afternoon pick up, stay as close to the right of the street as possible
Do not park in parking spaces that are designated for teachers on Monday through Friday
Tomorrow is the last day to bring in your Box Tops!. The top three classes collecting the most Box Tops will win one of the following prizes:
Free Dress and Popcorn Party
Extra Recess Time
Each student who brings in at least 50 unexpired Box Tops will receive a small prize
For every 10 Box Tops, the student will receive a Tootsie Pop
Please give your Box Tops to your teacher by tomorrow. You can just place them in a baggie with your child’s name.

Tomorrow is the final day of Red Ribbon Week! Here’s information on it:
Friday, October 27th: Unite Against Drugs // Wear red, white and blue to unite as a country to stop drugs. There will be a 9:30 AM Teaching Mass.
Tickets for the Washington DC Raffle are now available to be picked up! Stop by the Front Office to pick up your family’s two tickets.
Each ticket is $200 each and two tickets must be sold per family, totalling $400. Remember this is a mandatory fundraising event!

Merry Little Christmas: TK-2nd grade on Thursday, December 14th at 6:00 PM. Students present a collection of holiday favorite songs to celebrate the reason for the season.
Peace Has Come: 6-8th grade on Tuesday, December 19th at 6:00 PM. Middle school presents a spiritual musical theater performance with acting, singing and dancing.
Born is the King: 3rd-5th on Thursday, December 21st at 10:30 AM. Students present a re-enactment of the Nativity with story and song at our Birth of Jesus Prayer Service.
The Parish needs your help! They are in need someone to help with Junior High Ministry every other Monday night from 6:30-8:00 PM. Lessons are all planned and ready to go, the Parish just needs a willing person. Is God calling you?

Children’s Liturgy is back for Kindergarten through 6th Grade students!
After the Gloria, children leave the Church with Diocesan verified ministry leaders to participate in a special Children’s Liturgy comprised of Bible readings in the Sara Room. Children will return to Church at the petitions and offering. It is a simple and fun time for kids to learn and explore their faith!
