Parents and other members of our school community need to remember to practice safety during afternoon drop-off and morning pick-up. Members of the neighborhood around our school have raised concerns about some issues with parent drivers, particularly when vehicles exit our parking lot on Fir Street.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • Pull in and out of the parking lots carefully and ensure the road and sidewalk are clear before going
  • Speed limit is 25 MPH in neighborhood areas and around schools when children are present
  • No texting while driving or any other form of distracted driving
  • Do not block Elm Street when lining up for afternoon pick up, stay as close to the right of the street as possible
  • Do not park in parking spaces that are designated for teachers on Monday through Friday

Thank you!
