SummerFest Updates- Please Read







All St. Angela Merici Families,

Our committee has been working very hard for another successful event.  Three 4 hour shifts are required for each family with a child in TK, Kinder, or 8th grade and Four-4 hour shifts are required by each school that does NOT have a child in one of those grades.


***Reminder of mandatory shifts (this shift counts towards 1 of your 3 or 4 mandatory shifts):


* All families at least 1 shift must be a closing shift.


* Sunday Tear down: 7th grade-1 shift per 7th grade family


* Monday Clean up: 8th grade-1 shift (parent & student)


If you haven’t signed up for all your shifts yet Summerfest sign ups are online NOW. Please consider signing up for shifts in these booths:

Great Rides & Games

Daily use & weekend wristbands are available at a discount before the event online at at the price of $30 for daily & $70 for weekend. Individual ride tickets will be available for purchase at the event only(the more you purchase the more they are discounted). Early wristbands sales will be available in the church plaza beginning May 14th.

Summerfest face painting booth needs your help!

There is very little to stop one from face painting. The main barrier is a fear to try, and a fear to fail. Both can be overcome with the courage to do your best, and have fun giving joy to others (especially our kids).  Join me for a 101 face painting tutorial mini workshop. I will go over the basics and practice a couple of easy & fast designs that will make us look like pros! – Time is running out, please contact me for more information.

Start collecting your frosting lids now for the cake walk!   You may turn these into the front office

Summerfest Posters

Please stop by the front office to pick up some Summerfest promotional posters. We are asking everyone to take them to local businesses you frequent in Brea & the surrounding areas. Even if you can get just 1 or 2 posters put up in a local business it would be a huge help. Our goal is to see these posters up all over our town!! Please help us promote Summerfest as it benefits our school!! Posters are also available in the front office anytime if you can’t get to the lunch benches after school.
