Superbowl Weekend. Ed Kim, husband of Dianna Kim and the father of Cameron Kim -7th grader and St. Angela alumnus Savanna Kim won this tournament in 2009 and passed away in 2015. The St. Angela School community will be honoring him by presenting the tournament winner with The St. Angela Merici ED KIM MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. Ed will always be forever remembered and he will always be attached to the tournament winner and we ask that you attend this event and witness the trophy that has been named in his honor.

Spelling Bee Winner!

Congratulations to Isabella Ilacad for winning 1st place at our middle school spelling bee.  She will be competing in the district level in a written round on February 22nd. Good luck Isabella! 


Washington DC Raffle Tickets

All families must buy or sell 2 $200 tickets by February 5th.  Tickets may be picked up in the front office.  The winning ticket will be drawn during the Casino Night!  $10,000 winner!!

***In order to keep these fundraiser events going we really need families to help make this years Summerfest a success!! Partner up with another family or parent and help run a booth! We have existing parents to help show you the ropes. ****
 Summerfest is a fun way to get involved, meet school families & help out one of our schools top fundraisers. Here are our Booth Chair needs:
  • Dime Pitch ChairThis is one of our most profitable game booths. We help staff it for the weekend. We do not have anyone to run this booth this year. The family that chaired this booth the past few years are available to help out this year and show you the ropes.
  • Game Booth Chair-Spin to Win is looking for someone to shadow them this year to take over for next years Summerfest. 
***Have an idea for a new game or one you think the kids would love….help make/create the game and we will staff it.
  • Set up & Tear down Supervisor-oversee set up shifts Wednesday, ThursdayeveningFriday morning the week of event. And Sunday night tear down. You do not have to work the actual weekend of the event…You are FREE to go on rides, coach little league & hang wth you kids!!
  • Sponsorship Team-Get some of your shifts/hours in before & after Summerfest helping out Team Sponsorship.
  • Entertainment Chair & co-chair-Entertainment is booked for this year. We need your help backstage! Call for details on job. 
  • Banners-responsible for ordering, organizing and layout of banners for the event. Works closely with sponsorship.
  • Food Booth Chair-Chicken Bowl Booth is looking for a shadow this year.
