A SAM Student’s Faith Journey Response:

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it” -Proverbs 22:6

Proverbs 22:6 is a great wise saying to live by that represents my morals.  To me, this means that if you set yourself on the right path, you will continue on that road towards God.  By always doing God’s Will and knowing right from wrong, you are on the right path to happiness in Heaven with God.  This also means to set high standards for yourself.  If you constantly sin or do what is wrong, you are turning away from God and it becomes a bad habit. Lastly and most importantly, if you guide yourself on the right path, you need to stay with it.  Nowadays, we are so caught up in social media and money that we forget about God and what our morals are.  Once
we pave a path for ourselves we need to remember what really matters.  Following the right path will direct you to eternal happiness and God!
